Technical Summary:

The foundation of the Dahle CleanTEC 41630''s design is the integrated CleanTEC air filtration system. Using a 3 ply recyclable filter located directly above the cutting cylinders, up to 98% of the fine dust generated during paper shredding is collected where it is created. CleanTEC improves air quality in the office by trapping dust to keep it out of the air and provide a cleaner, healthier work environment. The multi-phase SmartPower Energy Management System switches to an idle sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity to reduce power consumption, and if the shredder remains inactive for 30 minutes, power use is eliminated altogether.

The CleanTEC 41630 is equipped with ESP - Electronic Sensing Protection. The shredder to "knows" how many sheets of paper are being fed, and the machine will not allow capacity to be exceeded. The command dial''s lights advise proximity to sheet capacity; it illuminates green if under capacity, yellow if close to capacity, and red when capacity is exceeded. Operation ceases to prevent jams in the event of overfeeding; remove sheets and re-feed to resume functionality.
