This model replaces a 9 year old Sharp that was loud, had no memory, and was not printing correctly. It was fairly easy to set up-though I did bring it home to do so-(have to plug it in for 2 days to charge the memory)--we don't have a lot of departments, and we are not programming with UPC's, etc. The sales tax was slightly tricky, as was lining up our store name to print correctly on the slip. No problems otherwise, and so quiet! Had to call Sharp once, and they were very helpful!!

Programming the individual taxes for each department was confusing. One quick phone call to Sharp and it was easy!! I definitely recommend this cash register. We purchased one just like it last year and now we have 2 of them!

I am appreciated with the performance with this model and this one is good to replace with my 9 years old sharp machine that was so loud, had no memory, and was not printing appropriately. The customer services executives are also really helpful. The sale tax is bit tricky though we are marking this one is the best machine as it prints correctly on the slip. The product is worth for each penny which you are paying for!
