Technical Summary:

The foundation design feature of the Dahle CleanTEC 41330 is the integrated CleanTEC air filtration system. Air quality is improved by using a 3 ply recyclable filter located directly above the cutting cylinders. Up to 98% of the fine dust created during paper shredding is trapped at its source, keeping it out of the air and providing a cleaner, healthier work environment. The SmartPower Energy Management System reduces power consumption in two stages; after 10 minutes of inactivity, an idle sleep mode engages, and if the shredder is inactive for 30 minutes, it completely powers down to a 0% energy draw.
The Safe Technology package uses a Verbal and Contact Emergency Shutdown, which allows users to say "Stop" or tap the cover of the machine to immediately stop the shredder. Electronic sensors in the steel reinforced feed opening turn the shredder off if fingers get too close, even though the opening is only large enough to accept paper. An emergency shutoff switch on the back of the machine adds another layer of personal safety. The CleanTEC 41330 is equipped with ESP - Electronic Sensing Protection. The shredder "knows" how many sheets of paper are being fed, and will not allow capacity to be exceeded. The command dial''s lights advise proximity to sheet capacity; green is under capacity, yellow is close to capacity; when capacity is exceeded, the dial illuminates red and operation ceases to prevent overfeeding. Feed the shredder again after removing sheets to meet capacity to resume functionality.
The automatic EvenFlow Lubricator provides oil slowly and continuously across the entire cutting mechanism. This keeps the shredder running at maximum efficiency, without depending on a user to remember to maintain the machine. The 41330, along with all Dahle CleanTEC shredders, has a "floating" head seated on rubber mounts inside a wooden cabinet with lockable casters. The cabinets are designed to dampen sound (none run louder than 55 decibels), so the shredder can be placed almost anywhere without being noisy and distracting. This high security cross cut shredder can shred 100-400 sheets per day, providing a complete package for data security.
